Digiboard's partner ADI provide LED screens for most UK races, including some of the world’s biggest racemeets: Royal Ascot, The Grand National, Epsom Derby and The Cheltenham Gold Cup.
For each race-meet, each course receives at least one of ADI’s ground-breaking iCONIC 60 mobile LED screens, with festival meetings – such as The Grand National and the Derby – gaining many more.
The 2007 John Smith’s Grand National saw an unprecedented number of LED screens at a UK racecourse, with a total of ten ADI LED screens helping the 68,000 race-goers to see all of the action.
These included ADI’s giant iCONIC 100, two iCONIC 60 screens, the iCONIC 12, the iCONIC 15 and also flown and ground supported screens, located throughout the world-famous course.
The huge size of ADI’s iCONIC 60 screens allows ADI to utilise some of the space for advertising at many UK racecourses. The i60s are setup to run 40m² of content in the centre, with banner advertising space at either side and below the screen. This allows for dynamic, moving advertising that can be updated at will throughout the day from within the control room of the iCONIC. Advertising is handled by ADI’s Media Division, through The Racing Network and helps to offset the cost of the screens.
